1. About Lina

Lina is a wellness and habit-tracking companion designed to help users monitor their routines while using GLP-1 and GIP medications prescribed by their healthcare provider.

IMPORTANT: Lina is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The app is for informational and tracking purposes only. Always follow your doctor's instructions for your medication and health. If you're experiencing a medical emergency, call emergency services immediately.


2. Agreement to Terms

By creating an account or using Lina, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Lina Health Ltd.


3. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older to use Lina.

By creating an account, you confirm that:

  • All information you provide is accurate

  • You're currently under the care of a healthcare provider for your GLP-1/GIP medication (if applicable)

  • You have the legal capacity to agree to these terms

  • You are not barred from using the service under applicable law


4. Your Account

  • You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for any activity under your account

  • Sign-in options: Apple, Google, or email

  • You must notify us immediately at hello@findlina.com if you suspect unauthorized access

  • We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms

  • You may delete your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting hello@findlina.com


5. Your Content & Data

  • Any wellness data, notes, or content you enter into Lina remains yours

  • By using Lina, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to use this data to:

    • Provide the service to you

    • Generate anonymized insights (with your consent)

    • Improve the app's functionality

  • You can export your data at any time through the app

  • Upon account deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy


6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Misuse, hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the app or its infrastructure

  • Copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our content or code

  • Upload content that's illegal, abusive, harassing, or infringes others' rights

  • Share your account credentials with others

  • Use the app for any commercial purpose without our written permission

  • Attempt to access other users' data or accounts

  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the service

  • Circumvent any security measures

Consequences: We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, without refund.


7. Intellectual Property

  • The Lina app, including its design, code, content, and branding, is owned by Lina Health Ltd

  • "Lina" and associated logos are trademarks of Lina Health Ltd

  • You may not use our intellectual property without written permission

  • We respect intellectual property rights and expect users to do the same


8. Subscriptions and Payments

  • Some features may require a paid subscription

  • Prices and billing terms are displayed in-app via Apple's App Store or Google Play

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date

  • Cancellation: Cancel anytime through your Apple or Google account settings

  • Refunds: Processed according to Apple's or Google's refund policies

  • Price changes: We'll notify you at least 30 days in advance of any price increases

  • Free trials: If offered, will convert to paid subscription unless cancelled


9. Health and Safety Disclaimer

Lina is for wellness education and self-tracking only.

We do NOT provide:

  • Medical or clinical advice

  • Emergency or urgent-care support

  • Medication recommendations or dosing guidance

  • Diagnosis or treatment of any condition

You must:

  • Always consult your healthcare professional before changing your medication, dose, or treatment plan

  • Seek immediate medical attention for emergencies

  • Report any concerning side effects to your doctor

  • Not rely on Lina as a substitute for professional medical advice


10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Lina Health Ltd and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages arising from your use of the app

  • This includes, but isn't limited to, loss of data, lost profits, or health outcomes

  • We provide the service "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied

  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or £100, whichever is greater

You use Lina at your own risk. We make no guarantees about the app's accuracy, reliability, or suitability for your specific health needs.


11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lina Health Ltd, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the app

  • Your violation of these terms

  • Your violation of any third-party rights


12. Service Availability

  • We strive to keep Lina available 24/7, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access

  • We may suspend the service for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control

  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice


13. Third-Party Services

Lina may integrate with third-party services (e.g., Apple Health). Your use of these services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.


14. Changes to Terms

  • We may update these terms to reflect changes in features, regulations, or business practices

  • We'll notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect

  • Continued use after changes constitute acceptance of the new terms

  • If you don't agree to changes, you may delete your account

  • The latest version will always be available at findlina.com/terms


15. Termination

  • You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through the app

  • We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms

  • Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately

  • Provisions that should survive termination (e.g., limitation of liability, indemnification) will remain in effect


16. Dispute Resolution

  • Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales

  • Jurisdiction: Disputes will be handled in the courts of England and Wales

  • Informal Resolution: Before filing any legal claim, you agree to contact us at hello@findlina.com to attempt informal resolution for at least 30 days


17. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.


18. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Use, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Lina Health Ltd regarding the use of the app.
